Your learning will mainly be based around the patients you see every day and the teaching you receive during your work. Courses may supplement this and it would be useful if you can do at least the first 3 on the list below before your GPR year, the others are purely optional as you will get teaching on these subjects in your GPR year (even if you don’t get any extra letters or certificates!)

Croydon University Hospital offers some very useful free courses. These are multidisciplinary and are advertised on the Hospital Intranet. Among them are ECDL computer courses, Diversity and Cultural Awareness and Conflict Management courses.
